MOMS Club of Wilmington
Ever feel like you're the only mother who stays home? Well, you are not alone! Come meet other at-home mothers at the MOMS Club. Local chapters have monthly meetings with speakers and discussions, park play days, holiday family parties, outings for mothers and their children, and activity groups like playgroups, arts & crafts, a monthly MOMS Night Out, and babysitting co-ops. Activities are during the day, when mothers-at-home need support. The MOMS Club of Wilmington meets every Monday at 10 am at Pine Valley Methodist Church. First Baptist Church Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)
MOPS provides a Christian environment for learning about all levels of a young mother's life. Members meet for education, fellowship, and crafts at First Baptist Church in downtown Wilmington. Birth Circles
Birth Circles meets the third Saturday of the month at 4 pm at Tidal Creek, Suite 204 (upstairs from the co-op). Experienced moms, new moms, and moms-to-be, come be inspired and strengthened by the women in our community. You may share your birth story or simply listen to the stories of others. This is a peer to peer meet up where families and caregivers can get advice from "seasoned" baby-wearers. Bring along your own carriers and your questions, too. Come chat with other pregnant mamas who are going through the same thing as you! This is a FREE Pregnancy Meet-up Group. Expectant mothers are invited to pop into the group at any time to share their stories, ask questions, and connect with great area resources. Come enjoy a moment of peace and support in the midst of all the hustle and bustle of every day life. We're here for you to share your stories with each other and have any pregnancy and birth related questions answered in a supportive and caring environment. Please mark your calendars, and share this event with your expecting friends this will be monthly. Our goal is to help you have a more rounded, joyous pregnancy, and a positive birthing experience.
Mamas Love Mamas Support
3rd Sunday of the month at 2pm
Mamas Love Mamas is a peer to peer support group for any and all mothers facilitated by an outpatient therapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker. This is an open group with no pre-registration required. However, RSVPs are appreciated in order to best prepare the group space for projected attendance. Children are welcome! There is also a floating date during the weekday so check our calendar for other dates.
