Coast to Mountains Preparatory Academy (CM Prep) is a private, online school providing students grades K-11 (expanding to K-12 for the 2024-2025 school year) with tailored, high-quality academics based on their individual needs, interests and learning styles. CM Prep serves students across North Carolina to meet them where they are - at home, on the road, or wherever there’s an internet connection.
CM Prep uses an award-winning curriculum that blends learning elements to accommodate multiple learning styles and maximize both the quality of lessons and the way they’re delivered. This personalized curriculum from K12 allows students to explore and find their own path to success - even providing career prep and college prep options to ensure that students are set up for their future.
Financial aid and scholarships are available through ESA+ and Opportunity Scholarship. In many cases, these programs fully cover the cost of tuition for eligible families. To qualify for the scholarship, families must meet certain requirements including income eligibility. CM Prep has enrollment consultants available to walk families through both scholarship application processes.
Our licensed teachers are specifically trained in online education to create a highly interactive curriculum in a small group and 1:1 learning environment that allows for personalized instruction. We also offer career and college prep options for middle and high school students to ensure North Carolina students are set up for success no matter their journey.
