NCAFF 5K Race

Many people make resolutions related to fitness. However, for some by the end of January those goals become forgotten. One way to maintain a healthy exercise schedule is to register for a race and then train for it. A 5K provides an excellent opportunity to train for something that doesn't require extreme effort and can be done walking or running. It is also fun to involve the kids in such training and teaches them the importance of goal setting. Prevention magazine provides an easy to follow walk/run program to train for a 5K in 6 weeks.
