Fantasy Fudge, a recipe originally found on the jar of Jet-Puffed marshmallow creme, has been my favorite holiday treat since I was a little girl. The recipe has changed a bit over the years so you will find a slightly different version on www.kraftrecipes.com.
Here is the version my Mom has made successfully for years:
Fantasy Fudge
Ingredients
- 3 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 small can (5 oz.) evaporated milk (about 2/3 cup)
- 1 bag (12 ounce) of milk chips (you may also use semi-sweet or dark chocolate)
- 1jar (7 oz.) JET-PUFFED Marshmallow Creme
- 1cup chopped pecans (you may also use walnuts)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions
- Spray a 9x13-inch pan with cooking spray or line pan with parchment or wax paper.
- Bring sugar, butter and evaporated milk to full rolling boil in 3-qt. heavy saucepan on medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook 4 min. stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
- Add chocolate and marshmallow creme and stir until melted. Add vanilla and nuts. Mix well.
- Pour into prepared pan; spread to cover bottom of pan. Cool completely before cutting fudge into small squares.
