Outdoor movie
Bring the family and enjoy a movie under the stars in Wrightsville Beach Park. Each Friday from September 2nd through October 7th Wrightsville Beach Parks and Recreation will host a free family movie night in the park sponsored by various local churches, businesses, and non-profit organizations. Activities begin at dusk. Picnic baskets and coolers are welcome, but no alcoholic beverages are allowed in the park. In the event of inclement weather, the movie will be cancelled.

September 16 - Despicable Me
September 23 - Megamind
September 30 - Oceans
October 7 - How to Train Your Dragon
