Oh no, something mysterious has happened at the Museum! Cape Fear Museum of History and Science needs your help cracking a curious case of “whodunit?”
Families are asked to become super sleuths, search for clues, and conduct scientific investigation to solve an all new Mystery at the Museum Saturday, January 18 between 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. (last ticket sold at 3:00).
Some scientific equipment is missing from the Learning Center. Did aliens snatch it? Maybe it was the swift Velociraptor or the sneaky raccoon. Is one of the students a thief? Be on the lookout for red herrings and hidden evidence. Forensic science, observation skills, logic, technology and your imagination will help figure out what’s missing and what happened to it.
Think you know the culprit? Report your observations to New Hanover County District Attorney Ben David. Mystery at the Museum is sponsored by Time Warner Cable’s Connect A Million Minds initiative.
Mystery at the Museum is fun for all ages. Parental participation is required. The program is $3 for Museum members, $6 per non-member, which includes Museum admission. *Note, the museum will close at 12 p.m. for set-up and will re-open at 1 p.m. Advance tickets available through January 15, 2014. Beat the rush! Advance ticket holders enter at 12:30 PM. Stop by the Museum or call 910-798-4370.
