CAM Spring Break
Cameron Art Museum is always a great place for families to visit and spend time together-- but now there are 10 Top Reasons to visit the CAM during your Spring Break, Tuesday April 15 to Friday April 18 10am to 5pm.
- SPRING BREAK ADMISSION SPECIAL: Kids 15 and under get in free with paid adult or member:
- Spend an afternoon or the whole day.
- Visit the monkeys, birds and fish in the Hughes Wing-all made of cardboard by artist James Grashow.
- See a treasure trove of detailed duck decoys from the Bruce Barclay Cameron collection in the Brown Wing and watch a film about the carvers who make their living creating these working decoys.
- Step inside the "Greenhouse" that artist Harry Taylor is creating out of glass-plate negatives. Reach inside the clear box for a flashlight to illuminate the individual images as you walk through the house.
- Stop by the CAM Café for a quick bite while at the CAM before heading outside to visit the Vollis Simpson whirligig and other sculpture in Pyramid Park.
