Boot Camp
The Wilmington based HeadSTRONG Athletics’ Boot Camps is teaming up with clients and friends to support the Good Shepherd Center with their Bundle Up Boot Camp. In return for warm winter coats brought by each participant, HeadSTRONG Athletics will provide a free group workout.
HeadSTRONG Athletics founder and head trainer, Shawn Manning, Russian Kettlebell Instructor, is a firm believer in giving back to the community. Manning explains “nobody should have to suffer through the winter without a warm jacket. We all know that there are coats hanging in the back of our closets that could go to someone in need." This will be the second annual coat drive done by HeadSTRONG Athletics.
The free workout will be held December 17, 2011 at Ogden Park in Wilmington, NC and will start promptly at 9:00 am. The event is open to the public and current boot campers. Participants will be using equipment such as light weights and heavy ropes and also do a variety of body weight exercises.
