Bubble Bum
Planning for travel can be stressful, especially when you do so with a small child. Babies require a lot of gear so some families travel with strollers, car seats, etc. I am happy that my husband and I decided to wait until my daughter was a bit older to travel on an airplane. She's is five now and we just returned from a wonderful trip to Disney.
Even though my daughter has no need for a stroller or car seat any longer, she still has to use a booster seat. In planning out trip, we decided to fly and then rent a car while in Florida. So, I wondered what the best option was for a booster seat. We could rent one from the car company and pay up to $10 per day or we could bring our own from home and carry it on the airplane. Not wanting to endure the expense of renting a booster seat and also dreading the idea of carrying our own around, I searched for another option.
Through my internet search, I was happy to discover a product called Bubble Bum, an inflatable booster seat that could tuck easily into carry-on luggage. I decided to check it out and bring it along on our trip. I was delighted to find when the Bubble Bum arrived in the mail that it is light weight, reasonably compact and made of durable material. The product was also easy to inflate and my daughter was super excited to sit on the special seat.
The seat is specially designed with belt positioning devices sewn into the sides so that it is easy to use in any car that has a three-point seat belt. It is for children ages 4 and up between 40 and 100 pounds in weight. Bubble Bum comes in black and purple and is priced well at $39.99 making it a great gift for families that like to travel. It is quite sturdy but also smaller and more flexible than traditional booster seats. Therefore the Bubble Bum can be squeezed between two larger boosters in the back seat allowing 3 children to ride in a row.
