The little touches are what makes a Disney Cruise so special!
All good things must come to an end and today ended our 3 day Disney Cruise aboard the Disney Dream.
We woke up about 6 am and made our way to our assigned breakfast dining room at 6:45. Breakfast was simple but tasty and we were able to see our dining room attendants one last time. The service they provided each evening at dinner was excellent so we were happy to have the chance to see them again and let them know how much we appreciated them taking care of us.
After breakfast we wandered around the ship a bit. We were in no rush to get off the ship as our flight home wasn't until 2:30pm. However, we did have to eventually leave the boat and face "the real world" again.
Upon disembarkation we went through US Customs within 10 minutes and headed out the door to get on the Disney transfer back to the airport. We took advantage of the on-board flight check-in so our room attendant picked up our checked luggage last night and made sure that it got to the airport. This is an excellent service which saves a lot of time and effort. They also delivered our boarding passes to our room so we didn't have to check-in at the airport. All we had to worry about was our carry-ons and clearing security check-points once inside the airport.
From beginning to end, each detail of our Disney cruise was well planned and executed. The Disney "cast members" made this vacation one to remember and my family and I will definitely travel with Disney Cruise Lines again. However, next time we will plan to go on a week-long cruise!
Thanks for following my cruise reports and getting a taste of what a Disney cruise has to offer. For more information about what is included on a Disney cruise for children and adults, please check out my article in the Wilmington Parent print issue on stands May 1.
