Squeezems and inchbug
I am always searching for new, reusable items that can be used in my daughter's lunchbox. I was excited to learn about Squeez'Ems reusable pouches and InchbugOrbit Labels which can be used daily in lunchboxes.
Disposable food pouches that contain fruit sauces such as apple sauce and yogurt have increased in popularity and have become a staple in many children's lunch box. However, as much as my little one enjoys those pouches, I rarely purchase them due to the fact that they are wasteful and cannot be recycled. BooginHead has developed a product called Squeez'Ems that allows kids the fun and convenience of eating from a food pouch while giving parents (like myself) the peace of mind that the product is reusable.
Squeez'Ems are BPA, PVC and Phthalate-free plastic pouches that are easy to use. The wide-mouth top allows for easy filling and cleaning. Once the pouch is filled and sealed, it is simple for kids to twist off the cap to enjoy whatever is inside the pouch. Pouches accommodate 6 ounces of food and are microwave and freezer safe. Packs of 2 are available for about $8 and can be purchased locally at WalMart or online.
No matter how old your child is, every parent knows the importance of labeling kid's gear. Ordinary labels work well for many items but sometimes water bottles, sippy cups and baby bottles can be difficult to label and often peel off due to moisture from these beverage containers. Inchbug developed orbital labels that are made of a non-toxic elastomeric material that is is in the same class of material used in pacifiers and baby bottle nipples. These labels are round and resemble bracelets. They fit well around most drink containers.
Inchbug orbit labels come in a variety of colors and can be purchased with pre-printed names or personalized with a name and fun icons. The labels were designed and tested to withstand repeated dishwashing, boiling, and microwaving making them very durable.
